These bike carriers are high quality racks made by Saris in Wisconsin USA, they are not made in China. The price reflects the quality of materials and manufacture. The rack is made from a durable steel frame thats powder coated to protect against corrosion. The rack is fully assembled and will fold flat for easy storage.
The angle of the racks legs can be adjusted using the locking centre spindle. The rack attaches to the cars tailgate/boot using 6 straps these are clearly labelled and are placed two at the rear, two on either side and two at the base. These are then pulled tight using the 6 ratchets secured to the rack.
Carries 2 or 3 bikes, up to 35 lbs / 15kgs each.
